Deliveries of simple one electric scooter will begin in June, competing with the Ola S1

The delivery of Simple Energy’s flagship scooter, the Simple One, will begin in June 2022. To date, the company has received over 30,000 orders. For a fully charged battery, the Simple One has a driving range of 203 km in Eco mode and a maximum range of 236 km in IDC. According to the business, the vehicle can sprint from 0 to 40 kilometres per hour in less than 2.95 seconds and reach a top speed of 105 kilometres per hour.

It has the largest 30L boot space, as well as amenities such as an easy smart dashboard and much more to delight customers. Since its debut, the angular sharp design with side winglets, proportionate and streamlined body structure, sporty aspect, and integrated turn indicators on both the front and back sides has won hearts.

The Simple One will be manufactured in phase one of a manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, with a capacity of up to 1 million units per year. The facility is now preparing for large production and will be operational over the next several weeks. The company has also started up a second plant in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, with a capacity of 12.5 million units per year and a 600-acre footprint.

Simple Energy has announced the conclusion of a joint project with the Indian Institute of Technology-Indore to build an innovative thermal management system (IIT Indore). This partnership intended to improve the battery modules’ safety, dependability, and lifespan in all of the company’s products.

The Simple One is priced at $1,09,999 (ex-showroom) and can only be pre-ordered on the company’s website for $1,1947.
