Lenovo has announced the debut of a new tablet called the Legion Y700, although it is only available in China for now. The Legion Y700 tablet, which was just released, is geared towards gamers and has features like as a faster refresh rate, JBL-tuned speakers, and more.
Lenovo Legion Y700 Goes Official
The tablet has been formally revealed in China, according to GizmoChina (via ITHome story). However, as of yet, the firm has not released pricing or a detailed specification sheet. At this time, just the display features and a few other details are known.
Lenovo Legion Y700 Specifications and features
The Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet features an 8.8-inch display with a 2560 x 1600p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a DCI-P3 color gamut of 100 percent. The display has a brushed metal finish on the sides and somewhat thick bezels on the sides. There is a single back camera with an LED flash for imaging. JBL-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos, quad-speakers, and other amenities are included.
Other characteristics, such as battery capacity, camera resolution, and charging speed, are yet unknown. In addition, the tablet’s chipset is still a mystery. Because it’s a gaming tablet, we anticipate it to have a strong processor. The tablet is also rumored to include a large battery with quick charging capabilities, as well as at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet Pricing
As previously stated, no pricing information has been released. Given the characteristics, we expect it to be more expensive than comparable Lenovo cheap tablets. However, we’ll have to wait for formal confirmation and will keep you updated if more information becomes available. It’s still unclear whether Lenovo will make the tablet available outside of China.
