Ingredients for Mutton Gravy:
Cinnamon- small piece
Bay leaf- 1
Mutton– 700gram (3/4kg)
Tomato- 2 medium size
Cinnamon- 2 small piece
Garlic clove-10-12 and ginger- small piece ( u can also put 1 tsp readymade ginger garlic paste)
Fennel seed- 1 spoon
Cumin seed – 1 spoon
Pepper- 1 spoon
Coriander seed- 5 tsp
Coconut- 1/2 Cup
Salt – As required
Take a pan add oil and put cinnamon, clove, fennel seeds, cumin seed, coriander seed, red chilli, pepper and fry all these for 2-3 mins in low flame and keep aside.
Then again put oil and add shallots, tomato, ginger, garlic fry this and grind all fried ingredients with 1/4 cup of grated coconut. Grind into smooth paste.
Take a pan add oil and put cinnamon, clove, bayleaf. Then add shallots..fry till golden colour comes….add turmeric powder and mutton. Satute for few minutes and add girnded paste. Cook until raw smell goes.
Then add required amount salt and pour required amount of water for mutton cook and for gravy.
*Check salt and spicyness. Leave 13 whistle if mutton is hard otherwise leave 9 whistle.
